Spruce Knoll perches on a wooded hillside of old-stand deciduous trees.  Springtime brings bursts of color with Appalachian native red bud and dogwood and numerous wild flowers.  In Summer the trees provide cool shade for our guests and for the plentiful wildlife living in these woods.  Guests often report morning viewings of white-tail deer, squirrels, wild turkeys and other birds. Spruce Knoll consists of two suites, on two floors, each with private entrance, bathroom, and kitchenette. It has a private outdoor whirlpool hot tub tucked away, where guests can relax under the stars or tree canopy. A wood-burning fire stove is located in the comfortable lower-level sitting room downstairs.

Spruce Knoll Upper Suite:
This second-floor suite has a studio layout with several pieces of handmade furniture.  It offers a queen-size bed, bath with shower, kitchenette, and comfortable sitting area.  A wall of windows gives you full view of woodland flora and fauna.  A large private deck with padded wooden lounge chairs and corner table is perfect for reading a book with a refreshing drink.  At the bottom of the stairs a whirlpool hot tub exclusively reserved for Spruce Knoll guests awaits you.

Spruce Knoll Lower Suite:  This suite features two bedrooms (one queen, two twins), full bath with tub and shower, spacious sitting area with wood-burning fire stove, fully equipped kitchen and large wood-side deck. A wall of windows in the sitting area allows you to observe the woodland wildlife from your chair. Your deck is furnished with table and chairs as well as lounge chairs.  You are only steps away from the whirlpool hot tub that is for the exclusive use of Spruce Knoll guests.
