Winter is a beautiful time to enjoy the peace and serenity of Creekside. Icicles hang from rock cliffs by Indian Creek, which winds darkly through its icy edges and frosty fields. Hiking in the hills, new views are possible with leaves gone from the trees and earth’s contours and rocky outcroppings starkly visible. The warmth of a wood fire and a cup of something warm to drink are most welcome when returning indoors after exploring the outdoor winter world.
Creekside’s lodgings will be closed for the winter holidays and for some January renovations. However, you will have the opportunity to experience the beauties of Creekside in winter as the Farmhouse will be open around Valentine’s Day. Plan now if you would like a special romantic getaway in February. We have a lovely package for two including all meals, our ever popular couples massage with hot stones, and lots of romantic extras! Winter lodgings are very limited, so call soon if you would like to enjoy this treat.
Our heart-felt thanks to all the wonderful folks who have come to Creekside during 2011! The year has many great memories---some of the best are of enthusiastic and appreciative responses from our guests. We wish you and your families a warm and happy holiday season and all the very best in the New Year!
